I’ve not had a good FTP client for a while, been just using Win 7’s folders. But they’re slow at best. So upon moving to a new host, I decided to look more in to WebDisk, a feature of cPanel that allows you to make your webserver appear like a local drive. However, it doesn’t work with Win 7. So I found 2 software solutions. NetDrive http://www.netdrive.net/ looks like the easiest option, but is only free for personal use. BitKinex http://www.bitkinex.com/download is completely free, and includes a good FTP client as well.
So I wanted to be able to share what Android Apps I have installed/am using. Since I’ve spent a fair amount of time with my phone, picking apps, customizing, and even hacking it (still new at that part), I wanted an easy way to share what apps I’m running.
1) Sign up for http://www.appbrain.com (just use your Google account)
2) Install the AppBrain app on your Android phone (and authorize it with your Google account)
3) Install Android Share plugin on WordPress website: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/android-app-share/
4) Add widget to sidebar (or page/post with shortcode), including your AppBrain Username & the List to display.
Here’s my apps: http://www.appbrain.com/user/tevyaw/
